As part of the “Watchtower Project for International Development”, the RMIFM is a comparative research focuses on the relationship to risk management of mining operators (mining industries, prospectors, entrepreneurs, brokers, local communities,…) and the external impacts of their trade-offs (environment, public health, local ecomony,…).

Covered countries : Canada, Peru, Mauritania, Sierra Leone, Democratic Republic of Congo, Ghana, Algeria, South Africa, Senegal and Guinea.
