The HBDO Fundamental LENS® Index is a recovery rating index and a component of the HBDO Fundamental Index® Series. Designed with the support of the World Bank (DB project), Lens® Recovery Rating Index measures how many cents on the dollar claimants (creditors, tax authorities, and employees) recover from an insolvent firm.

ie: Netherlands rated at ‘AA’/ High Quality Grade. It means claimants (creditors, tax authorities, and employees) can recover between 85 and 89 US cents on the dollar from an insolvent firm.
